About Rich Pierrelouis
A native of Brooklyn by way of Haiti, Rich
Pierrelouis
began his career as a stand up comic in New York
touring clubs and colleges around the country making a
name for himself. Taking a hiatus from comedy in 1998
Rich's desire to establish himself as a serious and
respectable actor he received his Fine Arts degree
from The Theater School at the prestigious DePaul
University in Chicago.
While living in Chicago he also
trained at the famous Second City Theater
conservatory and at Improv Olympic. Some of his
theater credits include, Julius Caesar,The Blue Room,
The Diary of Anne Frank and Shel Silversteins'
Hamlet...As Told On The Street.
Since moving to L.A in 2004 Rich has
resurfaced as one of the funniest young comics in the
country becoming a mainstay at all the major clubs in
the city. He has also worked steadily in film and
television landing national commercials for
McDonald's and guest starring roles on General
Hospital, My Wife and Kids, Eve, & E.R. and is a regular
on the Disney Channels Hanna Montana playing Taylor
Kingsford.
Some film credits include, "Barber Shop 2",
"Box Boarders", The Sundance Institue Filmmakers Lab
"We Can See Today" and Joel Silvers"Bet Your Life".
Rich recently starred (2006) in a short for AXE Bodyspray
titled Only In your Dreams for the International
Black Film Festival.
He is currently working on his one-man show entitled
"Just Apart From My Life" and his own T-Shirt line which he will produce under
his production company
